On November 23rd you can join the Hog in Hart Park at 12:00 noon on a 5K run to raise money for Prostate Cancer. Everyone’s invited to come run in costume, and there will be awards for the best costumes–and the best mustaches!
They even have non-runner costume awards so that you can have a chance to participate even if you aren’t a runner yourself.
You can choose to run as an individual or as a team. If you don’t have a team of your own you can even join the Hog’s Movember Team. They’re trying to get the largest Mo and Mo Sista team ever this year, so they’ll be more than happy to have you!
Everyone who enters will receive a voucher for a free Milwaukee Admiral’s ticket. There’s also a post-race party that starts the moment the race does. Everyone also receives a goodie bag with a t-shirt, a medal, other swag and a chance to win round-trip airfare for two on Southwest Airlines.
According to the event website the ‘Stache Dash will be held “rain or shine, sleet or snow.” The West Bend drum line plays at both the start of the course and at the finish line, booming you home as you enjoy finishing a tough race.
On the 20th you can also join The Hog at Knockouts Haircuts for Men between 10 am and 8 pm. Get a new style and the proceeds will be donated to prostate cancer research!
This will be a fun event for a great cause, and a nice chance to get outdoors and to do something fun.
